Develop a new middle school science textbook program, from concept to marketing
A large textbook company is entering the middle school market for the first time with a new science program.
Guide the development of the program by increasing understanding of the needs of middle school students and teachers, determining the attributes of the program, testing the prototype student and teacher editions, testing the make-up of the ancillaries of the program, testing the supporting Web site and, finally, testing the marketing materials for the new series.
Multiple series of focus groups comprised of teachers (and a few groups with students), as well as several expert teacher panels over the course of about 18 months.
Ultimately, assisted client in creating and successfully marketing an innovative and appealing middle school science series.
